Unix Fundamentals
Course Description:

This comprehensive hands-on course provides the knowledge and skills needed to acquire, fundamentals, features, flavors, and general basic commands of Unix, which are common to various flavors of Unix. Students learn to set up user accounts, file system management, process management, and the GUI tools for Solaris and Linux. They will learn to use different run levels, filters and pipes. Shell programming and job automations is also a part of the course. The course concludes with a conceptual approach to deployment of General Unix for the basic level of any flavor in a commercial environment for business applications.
